I am grateful and enthusiastic for every speaking opportunity I have, whether it is for a book store, library, college, not for profit agency, book club, film organization, or a large conference. However, I was particularly excited to receive an invitation to speak at the FBI National Academy Associates Annual Conference in Quebec, Canada this coming July. Many years ago, I served in the Justice Department as a U.S. Border Patrol Agent and as a Special Agent with the U.S. Department of Defense.
The FBI National Academy Associates is a non-profit international organization of nearly 17,000 law enforcement professionals dedicated to providing our communities, states and countries with the highest degree of law enforcement expertise, training and education. It is the strongest law enforcement leadership network in the world.
I am honored to have an opportunity to share my story with these exceptional women and men.
